I have a drawer full of well-meaning pruning shears that need to be sharpened after one go round of two days pruning rose bushes, raspberry, black berry, and the odd wild grape vines. I was so pleased with this pair that it did not give me trouble during the massive wild rose bush that has become nearly uncontrollable this season. I am only half way through and will finish hopefully later today, but this bush had done in many a shears. It was eight foot wide and twice as long. I am usually able to keep it contained, however I am aging and this mess has got to go. The conundrum was getting to the base without being ripped apart by the branches to which I refer to as the fingers of evil.

They did not let me down this year, still recovering from a gopher hole spill and still able to flip the safety and toss the pruning shears without damage to the shears, however I am contemplating the finish today.  They have not gotten gummy, or stained, they are still very sharp, by now I would have stopped to sharpen them but not with this pair.  I have the Pro Series that come with the little tool that loosens the screws to adjust for my comfort of cut which is a given on most hand tools since my hands are a little smaller than some, they fit my son's preference so I gave him the shoddy pair while I kept my Haus and Garten shears. Excellent experience with pruning.

I am no pro, just a woman with a great many wild rose bushes, berry bushes and grape vines that need tending each year. I often buy whatever is on sale at the local Home Depot or Lowes which leaves me with a drawer full of asking someone to please sharpen them.

I have been using an old Mortar and Pestle from the dark ages from when I was still in nursing. We used to grind up the medications with it and every nurse in the 80's had one. It was time consuming and never perfect. If I am not using that I use my small coffee grinder which is a killer to clean afterward. This is a totally new way of grinding my spices. With the Risekitch I used whole Anise and it is a pretty good grind, I would have liked it to be more smooth and powder like, but it works nonetheless.

I am torn on this review, I love it because I don't have to use my Pestle, and I like it because I wanted a finer grind. I am unsure of how this is supposed to work, so I got different one to compare. If you are wanting a powder grind I am finding out you need a larger substance to grind. This will do and I just got done grinding an entire bottle of Anise. I washed it with soapy water and set to dry, and I still smell the Anise. I notice that this grinder is a bit bigger than the last one I used, but they both are basically the same type of grinder, the brush and scrapper make it easier to clean out what did not grind or got stuck, and to remove the residue in the bottom as well as off the screen.

I found that this grinder did perfect for my pepper seeds, I love the eight blend peppercorn and this just tore through it without any problem. With a few twists I was able to get a fine grind which left me with the powdery substance I needed. I am finding that I need to have several for whichever spice I am headed for. Example is this grinder will be used for essence of cinnamon, cinnamon sticks, clove, and zests I also dry orange and lemon peel. The essence is basically a combination of several spices that are used for hot drinks like cider, cranberry teas, and even coffee.  As you can tell with the essence I got a good amount of powder although you can't smell it through the computer it has a fine mixture of all my scents yet looks like plain cinnamon. 

This is another grinder I will have to label as well as the product it produces so the family doesn't accidentally grab this to put in pumpkin pie, or any other such recipe. The odor does last in this grinder even after I washed it. I am going to soak them later in a vinegar and baking soda wash. I would like to use them on other products, but I do not want my dried garlic or peppers to have a hint of cinnamon to them. The grinder works wonderful. I have no real complaints it does as it is supposed to do. I am finding out and you will as well the larger the product the finer the grind. This product works quite well, I am impressed and have never seen a two in one before. I use olive oil in one side and my favorite vinegar in the other side. Since the product was new it took a few pulls on the trigger to get it going like most trigger sprays. It looks like one bottle when it is actually two half bottles, that you fill approximately 3/4th full it has two nozzles for even spray of both the vinegar and oil. You may choose whatever you want to go into the bottle except for anything that has particles in it, those particles will clog the sprayer nozzle.

I have used this for my salads so it is more healthy, my marinades for my meat as it evenly coats, and on pizza crust before I put my sauce on and nothing will stick. You can decide once you buy this how you would like to use it. Clean it with soapy water, rinse and set to dry.

The bottle has a lock and unlock picture on the top of the bottle so you can tell when it is secure. One nozzle is white the other black, you determine which you want for what product. When you first wash it you will notice the plastic sticks (stem) will easily remove, and can be put back together. This product comes apart in four pieces, I have taken a picture of how it comes apart and is put back together. Do not confuse the bottom with the top or you may ruin your bottle at the worst and least you will have one big mess. The process- wash the new bottle hot soap and water, or dishwasher if you prefer. Unscrew the bottom and unscrew the cylinder that will hold the fruit.Fill the cylinder with fruit and screw it back into the bottom. Make sure it is secure. Now unscrew the top and add either your tea or water 3/4 full, screw the lid back on. I gently tip the bottle from left to right and upside down for thirty seconds then allow it to sit for ten minutes. I find that if I put it in the fridge I won't have to use ice, it will be cool.


It is really very simple to use. I am very pleased with this product and hope that you will be as well. Installation is very easy, fitting into any standard door knob hole.  I am the first to admit I am not tech savvy and have not use blue tooth for talking, taking pictures yes with selfie sticks however this was new to me. I have had it a few days I was completely thrilled to get this product. Imagine if you will opening this well packaged product yet not reading the instructions first. You do have to read the instructions, I had this on completely wrong, no it does not go on like a headband. That was my first mistake. I decided to read the instructions.

I needed more clarity however before I could contact the company I had already received an email with directions. They do this for all everyone that purchases the product. This product comes with the headset, the size replacement buds (for bigger or smaller ears) a neck band, instructions, and a charger cord to connect to either your computer or a USB outlet charger. Mine came charged already. I fumbled around you will find the charger connection on the side of the neck band, it looks like a button and can be slid sideways to plug in. I spent the entire day on my phone until I got the hang of it. As I stated I am technologically inept, but this was easy to use even for me which is saying a great deal. Put the earbuds in get comfortable with it around your neck and familiar with the buttons it is easy the Bluetooth button will turn blue she will tell you when she is connected make sure you have your phone enabled. She will talk you through, yes she, turn the on button "Bluetooth on, Bluetooth pairing, Bluetooth connected" When a call comes in push the button once to pick up the call, and twice to end the call if you get lost look at the neck piece it has a picture of a phone. The clarity is amazing, microphone clear, caller is clear and finally a way to have a private conversation without the world hearing your caller. That is of great importance to me, my caller needs to be able to know what they are saying is not heard by an entire room.

I have a bad habit on putting people on speaker phone, yeah not such a good idea and this gives them the ability to trust that no one is hearing them talk. When you are done, the ear buds will snap into the end of the neck piece by magnet for storage. My over all experience has been very pleasant. I feel comfortable using this product and will continue to do so. No more will my phone be on speaker.
