The texture is very soft, no odor, seams are tightly sewn, slight sheen which is nice.
The pillow slipped nicely into the pillow case, and I noticed there is going to be plenty of room if there is some shrinkage, which is pretty much expected for anything made with pure cotton. It will not shrink much but it looks as if they knew it may and allowed a little extra room for that to happen naturally. I am very pleased with this purchase, although I received a coupon discount for this product in return for my unbiased honest opinion, and my own added testing purposes. It is a fact that children tend to be a little rough on their pillows, toys, and clothes. So again there was plenty of tugging at seams which held up without any problem. I would purchase this again at retail. Angel Baby is one of my favorite companies when it comes to children.
